It is the stated goal of 3con Management Consultants to minimize any potentially negative social and environmental impacts of our business activities as much as possible. And we go one step further: Through responsible business practices, we aim to improve people’s quality of life and protect the foundations of life for current and future generations.
That is why we lead by example and make our sustainability efforts transparent.
Our 2023 Sustainability Report can be viewed here. It was prepared on a voluntary basis in accordance with the criteria of the German Sustainability Code (DNK)—a recognized standard for sustainability reporting. Thanks to our many years of expertise in sustainability consulting and our participation in relevant DNK training courses, we are also an official training partner of the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE).
Diversity, Equal Opportunity, and Inclusion
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) are central components of a fair work culture for us. We believe in the strength of diverse teams where individuality can and should be embraced—that’s why we foster a corporate culture that welcomes different perspectives, challenges barriers, and promotes equal opportunities.
DEI is firmly embedded in our organizational development. This includes internal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, as well as the continuous refinement of our initiatives and processes. An important milestone on this journey is our first certification under the “audit beruf&vielfalt” program, a joint initiative of berufundfamilie Service GmbH and Charta der Vielfalt e.V.
We are consistently reducing our ecological footprint
Combating climate change is the greatest challenge of our time, and it is everyone’s responsibility. That is why we keep 3con Management Consultants’ environmental footprint as small as possible—for example, by consistently following a “digital-if-possible” strategy and prioritizing travel by train. Specifically, we have set ourselves the goal of emitting no more than 76 grams of CO₂ per kilometer traveled for business purposes by the year 2030. We are also a member of the B.A.U.M. e.V. network, one of the largest networks for sustainable business in Germany.
We promote the compatibility of work and private life
As a management consulting firm, we find solutions to highly complex problems. Given this demanding work environment, we as a company place great value on a genuine work-life balance. To this end, we have been awarded the “berufundfamilie” audit certificate for the fifth time. This is a seal of quality for employers who align their HR policies with different life stages and thus contribute to a family-friendly transformation of the workplace. In addition, we have been a member of the nationwide corporate network “Erfolgsfaktor Familie” (Family as a Success Factor) for many years, as well as the regional network “familienbewusste Unternehmen Bonn/Rhein-Sieg” (Family-Friendly Companies Bonn/Rhein-Sieg). To promote health and well-being, we also provide our employees with a comprehensive corporate fitness program through Hansefit.
We act with integrity
Compliance with legal and internal company regulations is an integral part of 3con Management Consultants’ core values. That is why it is essential for us to be made aware of any misconduct related to compliance. In addition to internal prevention and control measures, a reporting mechanism provides the opportunity to report non-compliant behavior—including reports of human rights or environmental risks, as well as legal violations throughout our global supply chain.
