Dr. Ziad Mahayni

Dr. Ziad Mahayni is a consultant and guide for new paths.

Not least in his role as Professor of Applied Ethics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA), he brings two perspectives together profitably as a philosopher and management expert.

He is also actively involved in the discussion about future issues in lectures, podcasts and publications.

Dr. Ziad Mahayni was born in 1971. He studied chemistry and philosophy at TU Darmstadt, Université de Bordeaux and Harvard University. After completing his doctorate in philosophy, he switched to business and worked for two years in strategic marketing and business development at a leading chemical-pharmaceutical group.

He joined 3con in 2004 and has been a partner since 2009. Since then, he has accompanied transformation processes in industry as an experienced change manager and initiator. With creativity and a holistic view, he supports companies in their digital transformation and the development of structures that promote innovation.

In doing so, he draws on his experience as a coach for innovative start-ups, whose agile and customer-oriented way of working he adapts for large corporations and other organizations.

The right question is more important than the right answer.

Ziad was Deputy Professor of Applied Entrepreneurship at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (TH OWL) and is currently Professor of Applied Ethics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) and Head of the Department of Technology and Science Ethics (rtwe) – a central institution of the state universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg.
