Not least in his role as Professor of Applied Ethics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA), he brings two perspectives together profitably as a philosopher and management expert.

Dr. Ziad Mahayni was born in 1971. He pursued a dual degree in chemistry and philosophy at TU Darmstadt, the Université de Bordeaux, and Harvard University. After earning his doctorate in philosophy, he transitioned into the business world and worked for two years at a leading chemical and pharmaceutical company in strategic marketing and business development.

Since 2004, Dr. Ziad Mahayni has been closely associated with 3con and has contributed significantly to the company’s development over many years as a Partner. Today, he is a member of the 3con Expert Network. Drawing on his extensive expertise at the intersection of management, innovation, ethics, and transformation, he remains closely connected to 3con and continues to contribute to professional dialogue and thought leadership.

Ziad was Deputy Professor of Applied Entrepreneurship at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences (TH OWL) and is currently Professor of Applied Ethics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences (HKA) and Head of the Department of Technology and Science Ethics (rtwe) – a central institution of the state universities of applied sciences in Baden-Württemberg.
