Dr. Dieter Seng is the link between consulting approaches and entrepreneurial reality.
Dr. Dieter Seng was born in 1968 and is no stranger to 3con: After studying organic chemistry, followed by a doctorate in Münster and Seattle, he was already on board in the early days of the then still young management consultancy.
He moved into industry in 2006 and worked for 17 years in management positions for various specialty chemicals companies.
He lived and worked in Asia for eight of those years, from which his in-depth regional expertise – particularly in Southeast Asia as a growth market – emerges.

He finally returned to 3con as an Associate Partner in 2023. What he finds particularly appealing is the fourfold harmony of entrepreneurial, strategic, operational and philosophical facets that makes working at 3con unique. Since then, one focus of his consultancy work has been on designing growth strategies for underdeveloped business areas and new regional markets.

In this context, he sees himself as a link between consulting approaches and corporate reality. A key success factor here is the comprehensive involvement of the workforce in corporate strategy and development: “It is important to make the role and contribution of all employees visible and understandable.” Another recent focus of his professional activities has been the development of growth strategies in the area of sustainability.
